If you're a worker — not an employer — you can join. Members of other unions (except officers), students, retirees, the unemployed, the self-employed, informal workers, and those unable to work are all welcome.
Your first month adds a one-time initiation fee equal to your dues rate.
Sign up on the Red Card
Join the IWW directly through General Headquarters and you'll be assigned to the NYC branch. Pick your Industrial Union by your line of work — there are 30+, from food service to transit to education.
